About the course: Despite global calls for higher female representation on corporate boards, women are still vastly underrepresented in the boardroom. According to Deloitte Global’s 2019 Women in Boardroom: A Global Perspective report, women occupy just 16.9% of board seats worldwide, which puts us far behind our global aspiration of achieving gender parity. Within Southeast Asia, women hold 13.7% of board seats in Singapore, 14.2% in Thailand, and 9.3% in Indonesia. Malaysia fares better with 20.6% female representation on board seats.

Yes, we may have seen an increase in the number of women taking on leadership roles in the governments, boardrooms, as well as public and private sectors around the world, but there is no denying that there is still much room for improvement. Our quest to improve gender diversity and equity in the workplace and community is far from over.

This on-demand online course is designed for organisations who are committed to advancing the leadership career of high potential female employees.
